Our Vermeil jewels are made of sterling silver covered with a 5µ layer of 18K Gold, they come with their guarantee hallmarks (for Silver and Vermeil).
The letter "V" next to the other hallmarks authenticates the designation.
Our vermeil comes 100% from the recycling sector of jewelry: Decorative objects, used electronic components, scraps from the jewelry industry and catalysts. This process does not alter the purity of the gold composition in any way, because once melted, gold retains all its properties: it can be recycled forever.
Our gold is certified by the COC (Chain of Custody) label of our foundry in Italy.

Some of our jewels are gold plated. They are made of 100% Sterling silver with a 2-3µ layer 18k gold. These pieces are gold plated rather than vermeil because their design is less likely to be easily scratched. They therefore do not need a thick 5µ plating. This also allows to reduce the cost of 18k gold in the final price.

The 18K gold is also 100% recycled and certified COC-RJC.
